Project Brief
PRS was engaged by the Port of Hastings to survey approximately 32 hectares of land, including intertidal zones and heavily vegetated areas, to assist with drainage analysis and infrastructure planning.
Our Approach
We combined Aerial LiDAR with traditional field methods to capture the site’s topography and features. The timing of aerial capture was critical — scheduled for king low tide — allowing us to collect highly accurate elevation data across hard-to-access tidal flats.
Project Success
Our hybrid survey methodology delivered a comprehensive dataset for grading and drainage modelling. It provided the design team with precise inputs while avoiding costly and disruptive on-ground works.
